Pulse Tangible Touch is a concept demonstrating the possibilities with touch-based interfaces. The concept can be universally applied to any product that uses a touch-based interface as the input method. The interface is made up of a screen that is flexible in nature. This flexible screen rises in the form of a button when it senses the proximity of a finger. The movement of the finger is the stimulus and the button rises in response to it. This tangible button offers resistance to the finger for it to push against. This results in a tactile feedback similar to that given by a traditional button. The fingers of the user can rest on these buttons just like a traditional button keypad. These tangible buttons must be pressed by the user to register an input. On pressing, the user experiences a tactile feedback as well as a sonic feedback. The tactile button subsides into the flexible screen either when the finger moves away or after input.
